AFSIS Workshop on “Improvement of Quantity of Agricultural Statistics” was held in Chiang Ray from 25 to 27 April, 2005. The participants came from ASEAN countries and Japan, China and Korea.
Improvement of Database was the main subject of discussion. Mr. Furukawa, ASEAD Project expert, gave lecture on Food Balance Sheet. Mr. Miyajima, JICA expert, gave lecture on Food security related with EAEER. In this occasion, schedule of meeting and training programmes in China, Malaysia, Korea and Vietnam to be organized by AFSIS during this year were approved. After workshop, the participants visited the Doi Tung Development Project. |
